Firm acquires Johnson Law

LAST week marked a significant event for Rees R & Sydney Jones with the recent acquisition of local law firm Johnson Law now being incorporated into the firm.

The team at Rees Jones are excited to welcome both Ross Johnson and Allysa Brennan to their Commercial and Property Division.

"We are excited to have acquired Johnson Law legal practice and very pleased to have retained Ross Johnson and Allysa Brennan as part of our team," senior partner Gerard Houlihan said.

"In its short history, Johnson Law has established a significant commercial and business law practice and its incorporation into Rees R & Sydney Jones is most positive for the continued growth and development of our firm."

Mr Johnson said that after six successful years of practice, the time had come to sell the firm of Johnson Law.

"I have specifically selected Rees R & Sydney Jones as I believe we share the same ethical standards and the same commitment to first-class client care," he said.

"Rees R & Sydney Jones is a quality firm that prides itself on building relationships with clients and providing consistent, high-calibre legal services.

"So while the doors of Johnson Law will be closing, I am excited to be able to continue to offer our clients the highest standard of legal services through Rees R & Sydney Jones."
