THE creator of an app that has caused a craze on social media has bowed away from success.

The app, Flappy Bird, has been subject of criticism on social media lately due the difficulty players have in passing even the earliest levels.

The creator, Dong Nguyen of Hanoi in Vietnam posted the following tweet on Saturday.
