Flume and Tame Impala the big winners at the ARIA Awards
HE led the nominations tally and last night Flume topped the ARIA Awards winners tally as well.
The 21-year-old Sydney producer, whose real name is Harley Streten, took home four awards including Breakthrough Artist and Producer of the Year.
But it was Perth's psychedelic rockers Tame Impala who were awarded the coveted Album of the Year Award for their second studio album Lonerism.
They also took home the awards for Best Group and Best Rock Album.
The 27th annual awards were held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney last night and celebrated the best year for Australian artists in ARIA music charts history, with 13 Aussie albums going to Number 1 in 2013.
Guy Sebastian took home two awards, Best Pop Release and the pubic-voted Best Live Act, while Jessica Mauboy was named Best Female Artist.
British boy band One Direction was crowned Best International Artist.
