Rockhampton duo Busby Marou celebrate release of new single

SUCCESSFUL Rockhampton folk duo Busby Marou have released their latest single, Days of Gold.

The local lads, currently touring the countryside, said on their Facebook page last week they were excited to announce their new single, which is soon to be released on an EP.

The new EP will also include some of the band's favourite tracks, stripped back to acoustic, along with special guests.

The boys last month announced their first national acoustic duo tour, finishing the year with one last trip around the country in a complete duo format in the hope of doing things the same way they started out.

Performing alongside some of Australia's best young talent, including Emma Louise, Velociraptor and Sampology, Busby Marou will also play to fans during the upcoming G20 cultural celebrations in Brisbane.

The city of Brisbane will play host to more than 50 free music events between Friday, October 24, and Sunday, November 16.

Musical acts will perform in different venues throughout the city, including The Hi-Fi, Old Museum, St John's Cathedral and many more.

Pre-order the Days of Gold EP on iTunes now.
