Formal Expo attracts youth

CAN it be too early to get ready for your school formal?

Not for dozens of teenagers who went to the Formals Expo at the Frenchville Sports Club on Sunday.

Among them was Cathedral College student Emily Pellang.

The 17-year-old said she went along to see what dresses, hairstyles and other accessories she might like to wear on her big night.

She said the expo was a good idea because it allowed people to plan in advance.

Her mum, Elaine, said the family was from Theodore and so did not get the opportunity at home to look at what’s current and available.

The expo also included products for weddings.
