Former Bully editor passes away

PETER Dunn, a former editor of The Morning Bulletin, passed away on June 5, aged 81.

Born and bred in Rockhampton, he was editor of The Morning Bulletin from 1964 to 1980 before moving to Brisbane to take up a senior management position with Provincial Newspapers of Queensland.

His family said Peter always loved The Bully and although he lived in Brisbane for the past 30 years he often visited here and still considered Rocky to be the centre of the universe.

His obituary will run in this weekend’s edition.
