Arts funding applications

SEVEN applications were received for round one of the 2014/2015 Regional Arts Development Fund which closed with a total amount of $26,521 requested. Some of the local group's to receive funding included Capricorn Coast Multicultural Group, Capricorn Coast PCYC Youth Development Leadership Centre, Mill Gallery and more.

 

Helping hand for events

IN the course of the past three months council has resolved to negotiate funding agreements (in the form of memorandums of understanding for a period of five years) for six community events and provide funding for the 2014-2015 financial year to three other community events. This report discusses funding for four annual community events and one request for sponsorship of a community service.

 

Road land acquisition

LIVINGSTONE Shire Council will discuss the acquisition of land for Northern Strategic Link Rd, specifically Panorama Dr, in a closed session today as part of their ordinary meeting agenda.

This was one of the council's priority projects at the recent Community Cabinet.

 

Pathway at Zilzie

A PEDESTRIAN pathway at Zilzie is an another item that will be covered during council's closed session, as is the appointment of the director for corporate services.
