PBR Champion Fraser Babbington is going home $12,000 richer after taking out the Live Series title and Rockhampton PBR title last night at Browne Park.

When asked if there was a pattern occurring after taking out last year's competition, he said he just always had his eye on the prize.

"I feel pretty awesome now that it's over and I have the big money and big buckles in my hand," he said.

"I like the bulls up here and I seem to do well up in this part of the country."

The professional bull rider is off to the Reef and Beef event in Airlie Beach this weekend following his big win.

UPDATE 10PM: FRASER Babbington has taken out the PBR competition for the second year in a row.

The New Zealand born bull rider won tonight's Rockhampton Live Series.

ROCKHAMPTON'S PBR has well and truly started with around 2500 people at Browne Park.

Some of Australia's top bull riders will challenge some of the country's toughest bulls tonight at the last round of the Rural Weekly Live Series PBR.
