IT'S going to be a case of mind over matter for Frenchville's Daniel Trim tomorrow night.

The stage is set for the biggest match of the season in the Central Queensland Premier League, as top-of-the-table Southside United clash with second-placed defending premier Frenchville.

With a mere loss separating the two sides, Frenchville centre back Trim said his squad was determined to bounce back from a surprising defeat at the hands of a middle-of-the-pack side Central last week.

Although each game is just as important as the next at this point in the season, Trim said the loss to Central would not affect their play against Southside.

"Whenever you go to Gladstone you know its going to be a grind," he said.

"Form is key running into the end of the season.

"We will definitely be hoping to come out of the blocks fast and with a good mindset to make up for the dropped points last week."

ROUND 11

Clinton v Emerald, 4pm tomorrow at Clinton

Southside United v Frenchville, 7pm tomorrow at Jardine Park

Central v Nerimbera, 7pm tomorrow at Sun Valley Oval

Bluebirds United v Capricorn Coast, 7pm tomorrow at Webber Park

Southside United has won five consecutive matches after falling to Frenchville in their last encounter 2-1.

While Frenchville got the upperhand last time, Trim didn't expect Southside to bring any less to the park this time around.

"It's definitely going to be a battle. Both teams are in good form and confident. The game will either be won or lost in the middle of the park," he said.

"Being a smaller side we just need to get in the physical battle."
