Frenchville student trapped

FIRE crews spent more than an hour working to free a young girl’s finger from a pipe at Frenchville State Primary School in North Rockhampton yesterday.

Firies arrived at the school about 11.35am to free the girl who had caught her finger in the bracket of a pipe near the tuckshop.

The girl wasn’t able to be freed until 12.41pm.

She was then transported to Rockhampton Hospital for observation.
