Furniture lights up party

EVERYBODY wants their party to be original, and what is more original than glowing furniture?

Illuminated Event Hire showcased their luminous wares at a launch party at the Republik Nightclub in Rockhampton on Saturday.

The creative company encourage clients to "turn your event on" with their unique furniture, which is for hire.

Rockhampton sales manager Russell Hockey said they catered for everything, from intimate occasions and weddings, brand activations, conferences, corporate events, VIP parties, product launches and festivals.

"It's going ballistic in other areas they have opened it up," Mr Hockey said.

He said the business had opened in 28 areas around Australia and had recently opened in Mackay.

Completely Australian designed and manufactured, they offer 15 different colour options and four different strobe and pulse effects. Mr Hockey said the company also had mould technicians and could make specific designs.

"Each piece has its own battery with LED technology with infrared remote, 15 different coloured and four strobing options to speed up and slow down," he said.

Mr Hockey said the furniture took a short time to set up and the battery lasts from 12 to 20 hours, along with being rechargeable.
