Gabriel and Cecilia Dreamed a Dream - and nailed it

GABRIEL and Cecilia Brandolini have reached some new heights overnight, receiving praise from The Voice Australia judges, and having their song become the fifth most popular song on the Australian iTunes charts in just hours after their performance.

The Clunes brother-and-sister duo received a standing ovation from the judges for their heavenly rendition of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

Their coach, judge Will.I.Am, was reluctant to take praise for the outstanding performance, and said Gabriel and Cecilia's parents were to thank for the talented pair.

"They did it all," he said of the Clunes' kids parents, while the young artists themselves just needed space and guidance to do what was in their hearts.

"They're the dreamers," he said of the young pair.

Judge Kylie Minogue was so teary she "had to cuddle Will."

"That was stunning, I was completely transport," she said.

Judge Ricky Martin was just as astounded.

"You guys are from Byron Bay right? What's in the water in Byron Bay?" he asked the pair.

"You keep surprising us."

The pair wrote later on their official  Facebook page:

"I dreamed a dream... So many mixed emotions. Torture and ecstacy all at once. Regardless we were really happy with how we went.."

The song then went on to become the fifth most popular song on iTunes that night, the pair revealed.

"Holy moly.. We are currently the 5th most popular song on iTunes. We have nothing more we can say..." the pair wrote.
