Gatecrasher in court

DUANE Everett Warcon will face court after allegedly gatecrashing a school break-up party in November last year.

Warcon allegedly punched an 18-year-old in the face at the a party for The Cathedral College students.

Police said the teenager suffered a bloody nose and swelling around his eye to the point where he could not see out of it.

Warcon's defence lawyer, Anthony De Fraine, said five witnesses would appear for the prosecution and two for the defence.

The hearing is scheduled for Rockhampton Magistrates Court on April 4.
