Rocky will be liking it like that as Guy rocks up storm
SINCE making his way into our hearts and living rooms on the first season of Australian Idol in 2003, powerful singer Guy Sebastian is only days away from taking the stage for his sold-out show at the Pilbeam Theatre on Sunday.
Trekking the country, performing for thousands of fans, Guy's biggest tour to date has seen him perform over 40 shows, which he will finish up at the end of June.
After nine successful years, Guy has earned a place in Australian music history as the Australian male artist with the most number one singles.

His recent singles Get Along and Battle Scars (featuring US rapper Lupe Fiasco) debuted at number one on the ARIA singles chart, where it remained for an amazing six consecutive weeks.
Performing plenty of his old favourites as well as his new ones, Guy's repertoire of songs and stage presence is certainly obvious why he's become a sensation in Australia and around the world.
Also announced this month, Guy will be opening for Taylor Swift on her stadium tour of Australia in December.
"I'm stoked to play with someone who is so popular and is going to fill massive stadiums because she has such a loyal fanbase," Sebastian said.
"It's going to be a whole new demographic for me. Taylor's fans really love her and it'll be nice to perform for them. She's a huge force to be reckoned with; people have to remember she's an amazing songwriter as well as a performer."
Also nominated for APRA'S 2013 Song of the Year for his single Get Along up against Tame Impala's Feels Like We Only Go Backwards, which Guy said was inspired by becoming a father to son Hudson.
"When you have a child you start to reflect on the world he is going to inherent so I wrote Get Along which is a cry for that utopian world where we can all just accept people regardless of their race or their culture or their religion or their sexuality," he said.
Guy is looking forward to playing songs off his latest album Armageddon, which was released in October, hitting number one on the ARIA album chart.
"I can't wait to get back on the road again and play songs from my new album to all of my loyal regional fans," Guy said.
"Of course I'll play all the old favourites too."
