Get ready for four degrees Rocky

ROCKHAMPTON people should brace for a cold snap with night temperatures tipped drop as low as four degrees.

Nightly minimums will be well below the June average of 10.9 degrees.

Tonight and tomorrow night’s lows are forecast to be six degrees then Friday is tipped to go to four, the Weatherzone website says.

Maximums will be in the low 20s.

Rockhampton weather forecaster Mike Marrinan said the colder conditions were connected to the dry air and clear nights.

Mr Marrinan said the cooler conditions would likely stay well into next week.

This year’s lowest temperature for Rockhampton is 5.6 degrees on May 28.
