GI due back at Redfern after depression treatment

SKIPPER Greg Inglis is poised to make an emotional return to South Sydney this week after a stint at a rehab clinic for depression treatment.

The Rabbitohs confirmed Inglis had left the centre last week and had been spending time with family before rejoining his teammates at Redfern, either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Inglis is sidelined for the season after undergoing a knee reconstruction.

"It'll be great to have him back. He's a great character around the sheds, I think the boys certainly missed him," stand-in captain Sam Burgess said.
