Glassing attack at Rocky nightclub

A MAN has been charged with unlawful wounding after an alleged glassing attack at a Rockhampton nightclub late on Saturday night.

Around 10.50pm two men were allegedly involved in a verbal argument at a William Street nightclub.

 The argument turned physical when the man allegedly thrust a glass into the side of a 24-year-old man’s face causing deep cuts to his face and neck.

 The man was taken to the Rockhampton Hospital where he was treated and released. 

 A 24-year-old man will appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on December 7 charged with unlawful wounding.
