Ambulance officers treat two gliders at Lake Weyba

UPDATE: TWO gliders crashed into Lake Weyba this morning, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman has confirmed.

She said two male gliders crashed into the lake about 7.03am.

The gliders were not injured.

Earlier a police spokesman told The Daily the crash occured about 7.15am when the man lost control of his motorised glider.

It's believed a canoeist helped to get the man out of the water.

Injuries are unknown at this stage.
