Tee off to raise funds for Coast Guard on Sunday at Yeppoon

THE Yeppoon Coast Guard and Pacific Hotel Liquor Barn will be conducting their annual golf day this Sunday, raising funds for the ongoing operational, maintenance, repairs and fuel costs for the Coast Guard.

The event will kick off at 11.30am at the Yeppoon Golf Club and entrants must register by 11am.

Coast Guard volunteers provide a tireless service to the boating community of Yeppoon and are constantly seeking funds to keep the service going.

The 2 Ball Ambrose Charity Golf Day is an annual event with a shotgun start.

The cost of $70 per team includes 18 holes of golf and a barbecue lunch.

Drinks will be available on the course during play.

Golf buggies can be hired through the pro shop.

The day will end with presentations to the winners of each division with great prizes to be won including many multi-draw raffle prizes and novelty prizes.

Donations have been made by local businesses.

There will be a prize for the best dressed golfer on the day.
