Good sports help chopper service

VISITORS to Rockhampton's sports and health expo on Sunday helped to raise more than $1100 for the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service.

The event, which was sponosred by Lane 4 Aquatics and supported by Queensland Health, Vibrant Health and Nutrition, FMStudios, Get Logo'd, The Athletes' Foot and Mizuno, Giant Rockhampton and World of Sport, was praised by guest of honour Shane Webcke.

Runways Netball Club won $750 in vouchers for sports equipment for having the expo's most interactive stall.

Rocky Roller Derby picked up $500 worth of vouchers and $350 went to North Rockhampton Little Athletics.
