Gracemere teen charged after allegedly driving into sign

A GRACEMERE teenager has been charged with drink-driving after he allegedly ran into a sign on the corner of Main and White Sts, in Park Avenue, last night.

A police media spokeswoman this morning said the 18-year-old was driving a white utility in the area when the alleged incident happened.

She also said there were reports the teenager had allegedly driven his vehicle into a fence.

Police officers also charged the teenager with possessing a knife in a public place.

He will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on July 17.
