Great weather for weekend and sunny skies for show days

THE weather looks to be great for this weekend's Callide Valley Show with temperatures cool in the morning and pleasant during the day.

Today's weather will be partly cloudy with overnight temperatures falling to between 14C and 19C and the daytime maximum to reach the mid 20s.

The weekend weather will be mostly sunny with no chance of rain and temperatures to hit a minimum of 14C and a daytime maximum of 27C.

A slight south-easterly breeze of 20-30km/h is expected over the weekend.

Even though it is the cooler, milder months, sun protection is recommended from 9.10am to 2.30pm, with the UV Index predicted to reach 6 (high).

You should wear a hat, long sleeve shirts and skin protection.

The start of the working week will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures and weather patterns consistent with that of the weekend.

Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist David Crock said a high pressure system over south-eastern Australia would drive the winds.

"The Biloela region will see temperatures consistent and slight breezes over the weekend,” Mr Crock said.

"There could be some coastal showers but none inland for Biloela.
