Grey skies over Rocky could mean thunderstorms
THE SKY is looking a little glum this afternoon with predictions of thunderstorms for the Rockhampton area.
Paul Wilson from the Rockhampron Bureau said Rocky was on the edge of receiving some rainfall tonight and tomorrow.
"There's a bit of a line from Hervey Bay up to Mackay and it's moving eastward," he said.
"We've got a pretty big storm swirl to our west so we're on the edge of it and might get a bit of that rain. We could get up to two inches in the thick of it more south of rocky."
Slight rainfall is predicted tomorrow with a shower or two expected for Rocky and a top of 30 degrees.
