Delays still expected after Bruce Hwy smash

UPDATE: TRAFFIC remains stalled on the Bruce Hwy after a serious two-vehicle crash this morning, but fortunately no-one was injured. 

The crash occurred near the Sunshine Motorway exit at Sippy Downs about 7.40am.

Earlier reports from a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson indicated a man would be transported to hospital as a precaution, but this is no longer the case.

According to Qld Traffic, both southbound lanes towards Brisbane are still impacted and motorists are urged to proceed with caution. 

INITIAL: Extensive delays are being caused by a serious traffic crash on the Bruce Hwy this morning.

The multi-vehicle crash occurred near the Sunshine Motorway exit at Sippy Downs about 7.40am.

Emergency services are arriving on scene.

Both southbound lanes towards Brisbane are affected and motorists are being urged to proceed with caution.
