Grocery trip proves costly after caught driving illegally

DRIVING a mate's car to the shops to buy food cost a Rockhampton man much more than a week's worth of groceries.

Timothy Osman Munns, 29, was pulled over by police while driving down Dean St because the car he was driving was both unregistered and uninsured.

He pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates court on Wednesday and was fined $700.
