Bronco Ben Hannant saddles up for Cowboys

AFTER considering a move to the Titans, Storm or Manly, Broncos forward Ben Hannant has elected to switch to North Queensland.

With 12 Origins for Queensland, six Australian caps and 192 NRL games, Hannant will go some way towards filling the void left in the Cowboys pack by the departures of Ashton and Tariq Sims.

"They have a high-calibre roster looking to take the next step, and it's going to be great to be able to train and play with the likes of JT (Thurston) and Matt Scott, who I know really well from Origin," Hannant said.
