Harrison Ford coming to Australia for Star Wars

HAN Solo himself Harrison Ford will arrive on our shores next month to promote the new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens.

The actor will host a fan event at the Sydney Opera House on December 10, it was announced today.

The event is free but ticketed, with a limit of four tickets (general admission, standing) per customer through the Opera House website.

Ford reprises his role in the highly anticipated new film 32 years after he last played Solo in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens nationally on December 17.
