Harry Mimi's funeral will be open to the community

THE family of Harry Mimi have confirmed the Vietnam veteran's funeral will be open to the public.

Harry passed away overnight after being diagnosed with terminal cancer just three weeks ago.

Harry's sister, Margaret, said the service would be held at the Gayndah Town Hall.

"He wanted to be buried at home," she said.

Details of the service are not yet known.
