Helicopter rescues injured man

THE RACQ Capricorn Rescue helicopter was tasked to Muldoon Station, about 74km north west of Rockhampton, about 1.30pm yesterday to retrieve a 24-year-old male who had sustained injuries after a fall from a horse.

 The helicopter was able to land at the property despite low and heavy cloud cover and rain.

The man was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

The gentlemen sustained a suspected fractured wrist as well as pelvic, shoulder and ankle injuries.
