Help police solve B'water mystery

POLICE are appealing for public assistance after a 36-year-old Blackwater man was located unconscious in Cypress Street, Blackwater around 12.45am Monday morning.

The man, who has no obvious significant injuries, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he remained in a serious but stable condition yesterday.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the man had attended local May Day celebrations and officers would like to talk to anyone who saw the man in the Blackwater township, particularly in the vicinity of Cypress Street, between midnight and 12.45am.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cms tall with a slim build and short reddish hair with a bald patch in the middle; and was wearing a short sleeve blue polo shirt, blue jeans and a black and silver cap.

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
