AUSTRALIAN designer Katelyn Aslett has been selected by a global fashion show organiser to take part in the first ever international show on the sky bridge spanning the Petronas Towers.

Aslett will feature with organiser Jessica Minh Anh in the March 19 extravaganza.

The J Spring Fashion Show will showcase 10 other collections from England, Ireland, Portugal, Netherland, Spain, Georgia, US, Hong Kong, India, and Malaysia.

The guest list includes country ambassadors, brand managers, fashion designers, and the international press.

Guests will be seated on both sides of the sky bridge, leaving the grand catwalk in between.

Each model will be walking a total of 5km during the 90 minute show.

The show will be choreographed by director K.Knight, known for his work with MTV, Matthew Williamson, and Beyonce.

"It is a great honour to showcase my latest collection next to the big names like Paul Costelloe and Addy van den Krommancker, and become a part of history on the landmark bridge" said Aslett.

Her designs are soft and feminine with fly away silks and subtle detail of beads and hand crafting.

"I was drawn to Katelyn's collection because of its intensity and freshness. She doesn't follow particular rules of colours, and her every piece is unique" said Jessica Minh Anh. "It will bring something special to the show"

The show is part of a series of four high-end fashion shows at the world's most outstanding venues in 2012 hosted by J Model Management.

After making history with the international success of J Autumn Fashion Show on England's iconic Tower Bridge last October, Jessica Minh Anh is believed to have declared a major step-up.

"Many people have asked me if bridges are my thing" smiled Jessica "I say I'll host the show wherever my imagination takes me. You gotta dream big!"
