Historic tours around Rocky

A SERIES of free historic walking tours will be conducted by staff from the Rockhampton Regional Library each Thursday in July to introduce participants to snippets of Rockhampton’s early history.   Living History: Footsteps in Time will take place each from 10am to 11.30am from the Rockhampton Regional Library, 230 Bolsover Street, Rockhampton.   From the iconic Customs House gracefully overlooking the Fitzroy River to the elegantly constructed Edwards Chambers, each has a fascinating story to reveal.   Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle, wear walking shoes and a hat, and have a reasonable level of fitness to complete the walk.   Bookings are essential as numbers will be limited.
