Home badly damaged in overnight fire

A HOME near Dululu, south of Rockhampton, has been badly damaged by a fire overnight.

Two fire crews were needed to control the blaze on the Burnett Highway around 12.30am.

An emergency services spokesperson said firefighters found the house well alight when they arrived.

No one was believed to be home at the time.

Fire investigators will attend the scene today to determine what caused the fire.
