Horse rider falls in Eidsvold

A 68 YEAR-old man was thrown from a horse after it reared while working with a herd of cattle at about 11.14am on Monday.

Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the  rural property near Eidsvold.

CareFlight medical crews treated the patient for suspected back and neck injuries and he was airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
