Hughie back to fire Capras against PNG Hunters on weekend
HUGHIE Stanley is making a welcome return to the Rockhampton Leagues Club Capras ranks for a tough tussle with PNG Hunters.
With the memory of taking down PNG Hunters at Browne Park four weeks ago fresh in their minds, the Capras will make the trip to Kokopo, PNG on Saturday for round three of the Queensland Intrust Super Cup.
Capras coach Jason Hetherington announced a changed but very capable squad for the encounter, headlined by the experienced Stanley.
With many Capras players unable to make the trip to Kokopo due to passport issues, Hetherington said Stanley's presence was vital.
"We've made a few changes but probably forced changes due to some of the boys not getting their passports back in time," Hetherington said.
"We're still fielding a strong squad; this year we have plenty of depth and we can cover those spots.
"A big positive for us is having Hughie Stanley back after a fortnight off."

"He's a quality player and I know he'll do a good job for us," Hetherington said.
After suffering back-to- back losses against Burleigh Bears and Northern Pride in the first rounds of the ISC, Hetherington said this week could be a turning point.
"If we can get the first win - and I'm confident we can - this could be a good turn for us," he said. "I just think if we get that first win the confidence will come."
