Improv workshop to strike a chord with local musos

A MUSIC Improvisation Workshop will be held at The Workshop Thursday, July 7 from 4pm.

Eureka Duo and Peter Camm will share practical improvisation tips from: Alumni of the Australian National Academy of Music (violin and cello) and Peter Camm (guitar), Classical, folk and jazz influences and exploring sounds, crafting themes and storytelling through music.

The workshop is open to all instrumentalists (minimal experience required) and all ages are welcome.

The cost is $15 for participants and free for observing parents/friends.

It is a hands-on workshop - BYO instrument!

The workshop facilitators are strings/guitar specialists, but the event open to all instrumentalists.

Minimal experience is required for string players and guitarists, so all ages are welcome.

A higher level of experience is recommended for wind and brass players - high school standard is appropriate.

Mature age students are most welcome to participate!
