The senior students of Caloundra State High School marked the year that was at their Year 12 formal on Thursday for a night of celebrations.
The 2020 class gathered at The Events Centre for the last evening they'll spend together as high school students.
Year 12 co-ordinator Lorraine Moore said it was the perfect way to end a challenging year.
"I think they're super excited to be graduating," she said.
"It was talked about a lot among the students whether it was all going to go ahead, but fortunately we've got right to this stage and they're super excited."

Ms Moore was proud of the students for growing into "beautiful young adults" during their time at Caloundra.
"Caloundra is a great school, it really is, and so I think the school's done everything it could to help those kids get through a tough year and I think the kids appreciate that," she said.
"They can now conquer the world."
