Injured men airlifted to hospital

A 73-YEAR-OLD man who suffered a stroke 160km south in the Lotus Creek area, west of St Lawrence, was airlifted to Mackay Hospital on Saturday at 10am.

RACQ CQ Rescue helicopter flew the man to hospital in a stable condition.

They also airlifted a Moranbah man in his mid 20s to Mackay Hospital who had been struck by a ute.

He suffered chest injuries but was transported in a stable condition at 10.30pm.
