Intrepid Rockhampton river jumpers are back in business

THE river jumpers are back in business.

A group of Rockhampton mates recently had a splashing time as they launched themselves off a metal ramp and flew into the Fitzroy with their BMX bikes.

The Morning Bulletin introduced the group back in January when they flew through the air posing for photos. The group's Matt McPherson explained the rules of the game which were simple.

Riders hit the ramp at speed to launch themselves into the river.

The winner is the one who can do the hardest bike trick in the air. Matt and his mates have been river jumping since they were kids.
