Police respond to Beaconsfield woman's death

Man released without charge after death of Mackay woman

DETECTIVES are investigating following the sudden death of a 39-year-old woman in Mackay last night.

Initial investigations suggest around 10.15pm police and emergency services attended a residence in Ellul Court, Beaconsfield where a woman was found with serious injuries to her neck.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene and police established a crime scene.

A man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
