How did this Central Queensland man come to die?
SEPTEMBER 1, 7AM:
THE discovery of a 75-year-old man's body in his Central Queensland home has prompted a police investigation as authorities attempt to work out what caused the death.
The body of the man was found at 7.30am on Wednesday in a home on Janay St in the town of Kabra, south-west of Rockhampton.
A police statement released on Thursday morning confirmed that a crime scene has been declared at the property and police were now "investigating to determine the cause of the man's death".
BREAKING, 3:50PM: Rockhampton police are investigating the sudden death of a 77-year-old man.
The Queensland Ambulance Service called police to the scene at a Kabra property at about 7.30am today.
Investigations are ongoing at the address about 20km west of Rockhampton.
