Is this Queensland’s most expensive kitchen?

THIS four bedroom home in McDowall might look impressive from the outside, but it is the inside that will take your breath away - with what may well be Queensland's most expensive kitchen.

The owners have spared no expense when it comes to filling 70 Malaga St with intricately designed furniture from across the globe.

Place Aspley agent John Bradley said that everything inside the home could be worth more than the value of the land.

"When I saw it, it blew me away," Mr Bradley said.

He estimated that about $100,000 had been spent on the French style kitchen alone.

It includes handcrafted benches and a Falcon oven which can retail for $10,000.

Throughout the house the furniture fits in with the high standards, with most of the items hand crafted and imported.

"Every inch of the property has been designed and each room has its own characteristic," he said.

The bathrooms feature handmade vanities with copper basins, and downstairs there is a large workshed with three phase power.

The owners had worked on the property for 14 years to get it exactly the way they wanted, no matter the expense.

Usually a house does not come with the furniture, but Mr Bradley said as the owners were downsizing to a unit, the furniture could be sold with the home.

"They would prefer it stays with the house," he said.

The home is available for inspection this Saturday at 10am and 1pm.
