It was hot in the city

YESTERDAY’S top temperature peaked at 37 degrees, making it the hottest day in Rockhampton since December 10 last year.

Weatherzone reported the city’s peak, the hottest January day for Rockhampton in 2010 so far, and the highest since the top temperature reached 37.3 degrees last month.

Meanwhile Brisbane residents were yesterday sweating through their hottest day in five months when the city peaked at just over 35 degrees.
