Jess Davis shaking it for charity

JESS Davis is getting ready to shake it - all for a good cause.

The dance teacher is holding her annual Party in Pink Zumbathon charity event, all in an effort to raise money for breast cancer research.

"Everyone is affected by cancer in some way," the 25-year-old said.

"My grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer 10 years ago and is a survivor.

"She's 80 years old, but it was scary when we found out, I just wanted to be able to help out."

This is Jess' third Zumbathon, and she's hoping for a good crowd to have a fun night and raise as much money possible.

The Zumbathon is on tonight from 5.30pm-7pm at the Vicki Davis Academy of Dance and Performing Arts Studio in Alma Lane.

Entry is $10 and all money goes towards breast cancer awareness.
