Jewellery, wallets targeted by thieves in weekend break ins

JEWELLERY was stolen from a home on Alexandra St, Kawana, between Saturday and Sunday. 

Offenders removed four louvers to enter the laundry area of the home before smashing a bathroom window to gain further access to the house. 

In a separate incident, offenders entered a home on Kerrigan St, Frenchville between Saturday and Sunday and stole a wallet containing personal cards. 

The victim was home during the incident. 

In another incident, offenders damaged a fly screen and opened a window to enter a unit on Bulman St, Norman Gardens between 3.30pm and 7.30pm on Sunday. 

The offenders stole jewellery, a cigarette lighter, an iPhone 5 charger, coin and a pack of cigarettes.
