Jury dismissed in accused drug cook trial as lawyer injured

A MIS-TRIAL has been declared in the trial of accused drug cook Peter Brett Clapham.

Mr Clapham was standing trial in the Brisbane District Court, accused of running a meth lab out of a home at Mt Crosby in Brisbane's outer west.

Mr Clapham has denied running a meth operation from the house which the court heard was owned by a friend of Mr Clapham.

But three days in to the trial Mr Clapham's lawyer injured her leg and was unable to continue, and the jury was dismissed.

The matter will be re-listed to be heard again at a future date.
