Caulfield Cup judges looking for fashion, style and class

AMANDA Tippins-Kirk and David Fenwick are always surrounded by fashion.

The marketing manager and centre manager of Stockland Rockhampton will also be judges at the fashions in the field at tomorrow's big Caulfield Cup day at Callaghan Park.

The pair said they would be looking for colour and on-trend fashion with a particular focus on co-ordination and statement pieces in the millinery section.

"We will be looking for something that is a little bit different," Amanda said.

While they encourage the younger entrants to mix things up a bit when it comes to fashion statements they still advised the "crop top" look was out when it came to race wear, as was night-clubbing style.

For the over 35s the judges are hoping to see race fashion tradition is followed.

"We will be looking for appropriate race wear that is stylish, classy and well put together."

There are plenty of fabulous prizes on offer including Stockland gift vouchers.

RACE ON IN:

Gates open 10.30am.

Stockland Rockhampton fashion entries open 11am.

Winners announced 3.30pm.
