ORANGE (NSW) driver Cody Burcher won't be deterred by a flip in the Rotax Pro Tour at Sandy Creek Raceway.

His father Shane Burcher said Cody believed his accident during the tour meeting would make him a better driver.

"A few of us fixed up the kart and he was able to go in the next race," Shane said.

"These things happen and it certainly didn't lessen his enthusiasm.

"He loves the track at Sandy Creek and will be back next time."

The next Warwick Karting Club meetings are on August 2 and September 6.
