Kasey Chambers and Russell Morris headline Village Festival

ARTS, music and an abundance of activities creating a wonderful atmosphere are what have made the Village Festival one of Central Queensland's biggest events.

Celebrating its 13th year as Central Queensland's major music and arts celebration in 2015, this year's event includes all of the free entertainment from 2014 and some exciting additions for you to grab your tickets soon.

The Sea Haven Village Festival will be held from August 21 to 23, with the Festival's venues to include the Strand Hotel, Keppel Bay Sailing Club, The Pacific Hotel and Yeppoon Town Hall.

This year's big news is that the festival has partnered with Capricorn Resort and the poolside sessions have been added to festival program.

In an exciting announcement this week, iconic Australian musician Kasey Chambers will headline the Saturday night poolside session at Capricorn Resort on August 22.

There will be a guest appearance by Jeremy Marou and support acts including Darren Middleton (Powderfinger) and local lads, The Shortfall.

Jeremy will also work with local musicians across Central Queensland in the lead-up to the Festival mentoring local musicians and this project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
