Keen medicos raring to go
MEDICAL students from the University of Queensland Rural Clinical School in Rockhampton know fitness is the fast track to good health.
And a keen group of them has been training three times a week for the last four months for the Rocky River Run.
Student Rachel Norton said it was the perfect event for them as aspiring doctors. “I'm really glad we're involved, youth suicide is an important issue,” Rachel said.
The organiser of the event, the Rotary Club of Rockhampton, is hoping to raise funds for the prevention of youth suicide.
